The Health Care System

This is the Southern Healthcare System.

Written by the South's Government

In The South there are many taken procedures at sight of an illness:

  • At symptoms of illness, the affected must stay in a Clinical Bay and have a Urinalysis to determine illness.
  • All that had sustained prolonged contact with the subject within three days before symptoms showed must remain home for three work days or until they are cleared from having the illness.
  • Before returning to work or schooling, all in contact or affected must take a viral and bacterial infection exam.
  • When returning to work or schooling, all must wear a face mask for one week.

As the government provides all necessities to citizens, they pay for medical care. Sometimes, the payment of care only to provide a small amount of extra life is supposedly futile. Here are exceptions to government treatment:

  • The subject has a terminal illness and will die no matter any efforts.
  • The subject is over the age of sixty-five and has a serious illness.
  • The subject will not possess the ability to work after.
  • The subject has an illness with incredible expense that may take over a year to fully treat.
As citizens become older they lose the ability to work. To prevent extra expenditures, citizens without the ability to work will be granted one year of serenity in the Elder Care before termination.
The Elder Care is a facility with relaxed regulations, no necessary physical exertion, and tranquil spaces. Luckily, the cost is still low. In an Elder Care, there shall always be a cafeteria, open garden space and swimming area. Also, many rules are toned down, such as rules governing emotional harm, mental manipulation and social comfort to encourage social interaction in the small community.
